    Great Blender

    Super easy to use blender. My old Oster blender quit working and I was so happy to find the almost exact same blender again complete with the same glass carafe (I can use the ones I already had, so that's wonderful!). Very happy with the Oster 6647 Simple Blender.

    Solid machine

    I am a toolmaker and I am very picky with regard to mechanical things, I don't like junky tools and this is a tool for food. This is a well built and reliable machine that is very quiet. I am used to loud blenders with such a loud noise they make it very hard to be in the same house and carry on a conversation while they run. Certainly the buttons are easy to use and responsive and they don't wiggle, having a glass container was important to me as it makes it easy to clean. This unit is solid and this coupled with soft rubber feet makes the unit stay put when in operation. I don't bother with reviews unless something stands out from the crowd and this does. The actual factory where these are produced, foreign or domestic, needs to be complimented on this machine. Perry G. Alarcon Colorado

    Oster blender

    I bought this blender to make smoothies out of various fruit combinations. It seems to work fine for that. I have to add water to get it to blend, and then stir the fruit a little to get it to blend. But it seems to have enough power and it;s easy to clean. I like the solid metal connection between the blender motor and the rotating blades too. It should last much longer than the plastic ones I have had in the past.

    Good for smoothies

    I had the original Oster with a very heavy base and glass jar. This one is much lighter but still has the glass jar. I have made several smoothies and it seems to work just like my other one did. I have no complaints.
