This is a well-sculpted and cleanly molded game figure. A bit on the large size for gnolls in 28mm table top RPGs, perhaps, or maybe it's a "greater gnoll." For even a moderate skill modeler, this was easy to convert into a variety of gnoll figures by changing weapons, adding armor and gear.

Loads of fun. If you've played any of the other D&D boardgames, this is more of the same. For those of you who haven't played the other boardgames, you don't have to own them all. Each one is a standalone game, but the rules, board pieces, cards, and characters are all interchangeable with each other. This game is a dungeon crawl, where each turn you explore a new room of the dungeon and deal with the things you find there - be it a monster, a trap, an encounter, or any/all of the above. It's fully co-operative; there is no need for one player to be a dungeon master who plays by different rules from the others and acts as the "villain," so you can even play this game solo if you really wanted to. The "AI" or rules for each of the monsters that you encounter in the game is determined by its card.Read full review

All the D&D board games are really fun. Temple of Element evil, like Tomb of Annihilation, are progressive. Players are allowed to keep an inventory from the previous campaign. Leveling up requires gold rather than rolling a 20. Tough monsters and even harder encounter cards.

i like the movement and size of the miniature. Others seem to be silly looking while this captures the feel of water and puts some threat on the board. Can be easily painted and mounted to make it even more realistic.
