Great recipes for the home cook. Well written and great photos. With the exception of the wild game recipes, most if not all of the ingredients are readily available at most supermarkets. In the few days that I've had this book, I've already tried several of the recipes. They were excellent! I'm looking forward to trying more. If you're looking for recipes to slap together quickly to feed the family between running from this activity to the next, this cookbook probably isn't for you. If you enjoy the process of cooking everything "from scratch", you'll love this cookbook!
