I have had many bibles but this is one of the best. It is colorful and has a ton of great information and aids in it. The problem with it is the text is very, very small (size 6 font maybe?) and hard to read by anyone over 30 I would guess. I really can't read it much without straining my eyes. If I had a full page magnifier that would help. Another thing to note is this is the older version of the NIV, the one before they changed some of the words around to make it more gender netural. I for one don't think the newer one is as accurate and prefer this older version. I think it is a shame that the NIV people have caved in to the new worldly standard and has changed it.
