I'd recommend this movie to people who enjoy slapstick comedy. The plot is your simple "tough action movie" plot: A high up officer is captured and imprisoned in a foreign country. This is when you need to send in your best on a top secret mission, this calls for Topper Harley. Charlie Sheen stars as Lt. Topper Harley. Ryan Styles from Who's Line Is It Anyway also has a minor roll in this movie. Hot Shots Part Deux is pretty much a movie that makes fun of action movies a lot like the "Scary Movie" series jokes around with scary movies. This movie is loaded with laughs, and if you play your cards right, you could probably get it here on eBay for under $5!
It's "Rambo" meets "Airplane"...some of the funniest gags and scenes I've seen in a long time, but sophmorish in nature. Lloyd Bridges returns and is still great with his timing, and Charlie Sheen returns to his Tpper Harley role and doesn't sell out and under-do the sequel. The cameo "Apocalypse Now" scene with Martin and Charlie Sheen was the icing on the cake...
Ok we have all seen this. Very funny, expecially when hes dressed like rambo and theres a kill count and all the bullets are everywhere. This movie is great i can watch it lots of times and still laugh. There are lots of spoof movies but this one is really good- just as good as the Scary Movie spoof movies. Definetley a good watchable movie.
