I have hunted Whitetail in Central and Eastern N.C. with the original Nikon BUCKMASTER 3-9x50 for close to 20 years. Some shots were at 300 yds with a .280 cal with successful results. I purchased two of the NEW VERSION WITH THE BDC RETICLE to take the guesswork out of the holdover. So far I'm completely satisfied. GREAT PRICING ALSO. JIM C

I have rifle scopes on my rifles from $150 to $2000 for the average shooter you cannot tell the difference the Nikon is just a small amount less than my other standard scopes at a 10th of the cost at 100 to 400 yards you really need no better on a varment rifle I have never broken one yet but may try it out on the 338 lapua at 1000 yards and see how it goes. Fyi my rifles are used weekly just not in the safe.

Super clear and picks up light easily. Great for those late evening shots or those rising fog morning shots. Very impressed. I do wish they had adopted the easier, better to the eye adjustment factors of it's precursor, the Nickon buckmaster scope. Extremely impressive on it's ability to gather light. Very pleased.

Great scope. This is the second one we have purchased. They are particularly good for a 76-year-old with failing eyesight. For the money, this scope cannot be beat.

For the $$$, this is a great scope. Nikon = quality. I have had other Nikon scopes and bought this one for big game hunting. If you are hunting with a range of - 50 to 150 yds. this is an excellent choice. Cheers!
