Nobody really cares what I think about Blue Bloods (a show that I avoided watching for the first 7 or 8 years it was on the air). It's CBS's top-rated show for a reason: great writing, interesting characters, a consistent narrative, etc. We've even re-watched some of the earlier seasons a couple of times. Good stuff. The DVDs I purchased, though, are worth mentioning. They were promised as "New" and definitely were. I've only watched the first two discs so far, but those have worked flawlessly.

When I am saying that I am not impressed by the product, I mean the physical shape of it, not it's digital content. I like Blue Bloods, prefer to watch it uninterrupted at DVD with all its humor and family drama. What I don't like is 6 DVD's that's sold as in very good shape, but the actually slammed into a singe DVD Box, separated by random paper. The box doesn't really close because of the pressure, and the discs are loosely moving around on the paper. Maybe they were in good shape when they were packed, but once they arrived they were really scratched. I tried to capture that on photos. It comes to worse when I see the price tag on the box that indicates a much smaller price than I was charged for it. Not impressed.

I think Blue Bloods is likely one of the best on TV still, after 7 years. Tom Selleck is as talented today, as he was in his 20s/30s back in the 80s. The rest of the cast (all the kids, grandkids, Grandpa, sister/daughter- in-law "Linda", the wife of "Danny") ALL of them! Each character gets screen time, story lines, etc. All taking place in NYC, the "city that never sleeps". It's a "cop show", yet it's grounded in also being about family. If I HAD to list anything bad about it, I'd say that showing them drinking in EVERY episode (even in a hospital?!) is unnecessary. Other than that, it's a great show, and always has been. Oddly enough, it was my Mom who got me hooked on this show. I went back and bought the first few seasons on DVD so I could see it all in order. Now I buy the seasons when they're released on DVD because I know I'll want to watch them again. (And I HAVE! especially in the summer, when the current seasons are over) I would recommend this show to anyone..with the exception of small children who don't need to watch the "true to life" crime that's shown on it. It's entertaining every time!Read full review

Not a lot to say. If you like Blue Bloods like I do, you will enjoy season 6. If you do not like Blue Bloods, season 6 will not change your mind. I enjoy the fact that it shows the law from apposing points of vue. I also enjoy the family. The fact that I can binge watch is always a plus.
