I updated from the Lowrance 5x HDS. Since this has the GPS, I am really happy with the feature. The screen is a whole lot better, when the sun is out. You don't have to put a shadow over it to try and view it. I have the Navionics chip as well, which helps. The downscan is awesome as well, just like my previous model.
