I have been a Panasonic cordless user for about 20-some years and this unit is excellent, the best for me so far. Sound (voice) quality to me and to person in the call, as they have told me, is better than ever. I bought this system because of its ability to block up to 250 incoming call numbers, so just the call blocking feature is worth the price. Most telemarketers and political calls are from area codes that i have no contact with, so call blocking by just specifying those area codes eliminates most of the annoying calls, and to block calls from other areas, can do that with press of a button which blocks only that specific total phone number. I cannot see how I could ever reach the limit of 250 calls blocked, as 1 'area code' blocked results in the blocking of several annoying call numbers, and that only counts as '1' of the 250 limit. There are more options than I will probably ever use but nice that they are there. Nothing bad to report as far as I have seen so far, but have to keep the 'Operating Instructions' manual close by as 'tweaking' of options and settings is done via keying in a code to get the handset (or base unit) to show the setting choices, and just a few of these choices are made, easily, at initial installation time. I only have quibbles with this phone: 1) I'm entering my phone book. I wish it had Abc in addition to ABC, abc and 123 . 2) I wish that the timeout were user settable (I'm old and slow gods for forbid that I slow down some young hot dog)
