I am a previous owner of the Galaxy S3 and I absolutely love this phone. just the overall build, the feel in the hand, the full HD screen, the quadcore processor really shines and makes this a really smooth phone. if having a removable back and external memory card is a deal breaker, then this phone isn't for you. it doesn't have nearly as many camera features as the S4 tends to show off, and all the random gestures where im sure you will only use maybe 2 out of the 50 that they have to offer. something to consider if you want this phone. this phone does frequent over the air (OTA) updates. every two weeks, literally no exaggeration. go to the oppo forums, and hit the link that says "firmware suggestions." there motto is "this is a phone made for you, and made BY you." what this mean is that they are open to listening to there users ideas. come up with any suggestions that you want to see in the next over the air update. if you can get a bunch of users to vote in favor of your idea, then you can literally see your idea become reality and the team at Oppo really makes an effort in making that happen. so hit up there forums, and like there fan page on Facebook to stay in the loop. they have just a clean and smoother overall feel, and added there own nice touch to the android UI. if you are switching from the iPhone, this phone is not hard to use at all. if you are really struggling like a dummy, then there are plenty of YouTube videos that shows you tips and tricks to literally walk you through all the how to's like a baby. this phone is only getting better month to month. ps: if you are a sucker for phone accessories, i will be honest that this phone does not have many for this specific phone. all they really have is a back cover/flip cover and a screen protector. i can get away with the universal Samsung car dock and that works just fine. bottom line, this is literally the most underrated phone and the best bang for your buck it terms of dollar signs. the only reason why it is not getting any recognition is because this brand is more known for making super high quality blu ray players. they may not be on the plus side in terms of all the software aspects, but they sure did a great job in perfecting the screen resolution. you seriously cannot appreciate how awesome pictures and gaming really is until you see it for yourself. it blows all the pictures displays out there from the water. if they specialize in blu rays this is no surprise that the screen resolution will no doubt be amongst one of the best . to answer all the star ratings features: are above average. nothing that will blow your mind away, but if you like simple like me, it gets the job down. a bunch of random shortcuts you can discover on you're own. it really comes down to personal preference whether or not you like it. my opinion, it gets the job done. ease of use: i would give this 6 stars out of 5. i can explain all i want, but you will notice how easy it is if you get the device for yourself. i have been showing off this phone to so many friends and family and they have all been blown away by the overall feel, quality and screen resolution. battery life: as for the stock system i don't have much of a say. i did root my phone with CyanogenMod 10.1 (4.2.2 Jellybean) and i can get anywhere from 10-12 hours out of my phone. texting all the time, checking facebook, i watch a lot of music videos. great battery life IF rooted. value: quality vs gestures. your callRead full review
I have an Oppo Find 5 16GB version that I bought from Oppo abut a year ago. My dad was impressed with this phone, so I bought him this one. It is an excellent phone, beautiful display, and excellent speakers and microphone. My phone has the Stock ColorOS which I find to be intuitive, powerful, and easy to use. This one that I bought uses Cyanogenmod. This OS may arguably be more powerful, but I found it less intuitive, and harder to find certain menus/setting that can easily be manipulated in colorOS.
