I have tried two other types of phone holders and this one is the best so far. I would've given it five stars if the clamp to the vent was slightly deeper. Three-eighths of an inch longer and perhaps a bit more tapered for the clamp's jaws would make the product ideal for my situation. The assembly fell off the vent only once, but again, after I really tightened down the vent clamp nut. My LG V-10 builds a lot of heat, and this keeps the phone temperature way down during the Hot Arizona summers. This holder adjusts to any possible position I could ever want, keeping the phone out of the sun, and not blocking my views of the road in front, or the side-view mirrors. iOttie is the best holder for me and my particular needs. I bought one for my girlfriend and she liked it so I decided to buy one for my car. The only issue is my air vent that it clips onto aren't as thick as my girlfriend's so I had to add sum cardboard to the clamp to make it grip the vent. If not ur phone and this thing will go flying as ur going around corners or hitting sum rough roads. Oh shut ur air vent in the winter cuz the heat will cause ur phone to over heat as I found out.
