My wife has been a real devotee of the Shuttle XPC line since it came out. I had bought one of the early models and she fell in love with it's small size and quiet operation, so when it was time for a new PC FOR her she got our second one. When it was time to upgrade that one she chose Shuttle again. After many years of service that one failed and she wanted another one fast. Some medical bills had hit our funds so we decided to try Ebay and got exactly what she wanted. PROS for the Shuttle Small form factor Quiet liquid cooled operation (coolant is hermetically sealed so no mess) Plenty of ports for USB, SATA, audio, video, and network Internal room for another hard drive Good native video performance CONS for the Shuttle Only 2 expansion slots If you are a gamer and need a top end graphics card the power supply will limit your choices Proprietary power supply Summary Check the specs carefully before you buy as upgrading is somewhat limited, but if it matches your needs you will have a quiet, dependable computer that will give years of service.Read full review

Need a low-cost small form factor computer for a media server? How about a Kodi video streaming box for your big screen TV and AV setup that can stream 1080p off the processor's GPU via HDMI? Have an old, expensive slide scanner that only works on XP? Configure a drive for XP (Shuttle has all the drivers for XP available still for download) Slap that in and dust off that old hardware. XP never ran so well. Configure another drive for Win 7 or Win10 and just swap it out for another OS when you want to do something else. Or, buy two and stack them one over the other with XP on one and Win 7 or 10 on the other. Two of these stacked take up about the same space as a mini tower. Anything from an I-3 2120 to the I-7 3770 Sandy and (Ivy bridge -- Ver. 2.0 only) will work on this model. Easiest chassis ever to work in. The Shuttle is finicky on ram and video cards. See the Shuttle site for the recommended models for both. She supports up to 32 gb of ram in four slots. Snappy little computer for the money that won't disappoint. Look for one with a Ver. 2.0 motherboard. They are the most upgradeable over the 1.0 motherboard.Read full review

I bought this to replace an identical unit that had a front panel USB port short out and fry the system. As such, I knew what I was getting. This one has a better CPU than the old one. A nice system that is quiet and doesn't take up much space. I do recommend adding a USB hub and being careful with the front USB ports. Overall a nice system for someone who does not need lots of disk drives or a high end graphics card.

Needed smaller case for 1155 intel processor .Got Shuttle, swapped preinstalled processor for my never generation one, added my memory to preinstalled and put my hard drive with preinstalled Windows 10. After a few forced starts ,BIOS tweaks and Windows start repair processes got it running without reinstalling Windows. Works great, fits where I need it and its about 6 times smaller by volume.

Overall good, in good condition, working quietly and smoothly. I am using it as my file server (DSM in hyper-V) and docker server (for my own development). Still waiting for a 1050TI deal to make it as a game pc too. It comes without a DVD-rom which is surprise for me. In addition, it comes with 16GB ram as 4x4GB, which is inconvenient for future upgrade. The seller should mention that in the description.
