I used WordPerfect many years ago; and, I thought it was swell. But, like everyone else, when Microsoft Word was obviously taking over, I switched. I have now used Microsoft Office for far too many years to make going back to WordPerfect practical for me. Simple things like adding a page number and having the number introduced into the text as opposed to having the number introduced outside the text make Microsoft Word a far-superior choice for me - now.

It keeps timing out for no apparent reasons. If you have not been diligent on saving your work, you can lose a lot of info. You may even have to start over. I am not impress with this new version. It seems the more they try the worse it gets. I hate paying good money for a Beta version of their products, and wind up testing their product for them.

I've used WordPerfect over the years, and find it very easy to manipulate. As others have pointed out, one of the biggest assets is the Reveal Codes function, which makes it simple to straighten out those pesky formatting snafus.

Much better than Word. Reveal Codes has always been one of the most useful features when trying do do complicated formatting such as inserting images.
