Simple..Easy..lightweight.
Bought this to replace my older pump that had cracked.(used it for years, and have duck taped it back, but wanted to have a replacement as backup)..still have lots of bags. It is a simple, easy, inexpensive system to vacuum seal 'whatever' in bags that come in two sizes. I've never had a bad seal. Wish Ziploc still made it.

Nice inexpensive vacuum pump
Not only do I use the vacuum pump with the bags that come with the starter kit, I also use it on canning jars. I just drive a small nail into the lid and seal it with electrical tape. It keeps strawberries from getting moldy for over a week and it keeps cut onions from turning brown and stinking up the refrigerator. I have a pump that I've used for years and it still works well. My only complaint is that some of the bags don't hold their vacuum.
