We are having to strip a paint that was call Rescue and it started peeling but some would not come of with a power washer. I bought a quart of Smart Strip, used some on a couple of boards let it set for a few hours and then the power washers was able to get the rest of the pain off the boards. Now I am getting ready to two strip to decks. I bought two gallon for the two deck because there is a lot of left over old paint that will not come off with just the power washers.

Works great, I apply, thick, then cover with plastic, leave on for 24 hours. Pulls off most of the paint with the plastic. Scrape and wash with course steel wool and water.
