Like the other reviews before, the battery powered part did stop working after a few days. One of the pieces (looks like a pole of some sorts) keeps falling off, but all in all my 6 year old son did not mind either of these things. So just expect the battery operation to stop working, but kids can still play with it and have fun.

This was the only Titanic toy I could find for a kid, so on that fact alone, it's good! I bit overpriced for what it was, but my 8 year old really loves it and has taken it in the bath every day for over a week and the batteries are still working the little motor. So, all in all, worth it.

Truthfully, to me, its not very well built. A plastic mode with a AA battery. Very simple and cheap. No marvel of engineering by any means. In fact it sinks after a few minutes. But, and this is a Big But, what I think about it doesn't matter. My 8 year old boy asked for it. He picked it out on ebay. Got it from Santa for Christmas and now he carries it with him every where he goes. To the bath tub, to the bathroom, and even sleeps with it. He loves that it sinks. He screams out Jack, Jack, I'll never let go!. I laugh uncontrollably. Mission accomplished. No toy can ever get a better review than that.

I purchased this toy for my son. It arrived just as presented in the pictures. However, the package was the only nice thing about it. The toy looks ok on the outside but the inside (where the motor and battery are located) was very messy. There was glue everywhere. I had to cut a lot of it off with a knife just to get the battery in the right spot but as soon as you turn it on the battery falls out because it is not secure at all. This was a waste of $30!
