This monopod is perfect for photographers of any skill level. It enables you to steady your camera for times when a slower shutter speed is needed or when using telephoto lenses. Packs into a licht and compact easy to carry package and is very handy for those times when carrying a tripod is not practical. You will see professional sports photographers using monopods on the sidelines for college and NFL football games. A lot of bang for the buck!

Good budget monopod w/ limits. I used the monopod w/ my Nikon D7100. The quick plate moves ever so slightly when snapped in place. This was probably due to the weight of the camera. This particular model of monopod would probably be great for a pocket camera. Decent product. Not recommended for professional use.

Luckily it is NOT "heavy duty" like the marketing claims. Oh, it's sturdy enough - no problem there - but it is very light and perfect for backpacking or other applications where you don't want the weight, but do want to add some stability. Works just fine. A good price for a usable tool.

After the TSA confiscated one of my monopods I had to replace it. This little unit hit the mark. The other one had all manner of whistles and bells allowing me to swivel and tilt the head, never figured out why you would need a swivel head on a monopod. This one has a simple quick release and that is it. Enough said, that is all you need.
