The hardware is solid and these cards will play any game at 1080p with high to ultra presets and maintain 60 FPS average or better - definitely a smarter buy than a used GTX 1050 Ti for the same or more money. And this model runs pretty hard - it's only slightly slower than a garden-variety RX 580 But I have had a problem with Radeon drivers occasionally producing temporary black or green screens for about two years now. I know it's the drivers because it has happened across multiple cards in systems with different boards, power supplies, memory, processors, etc. The good news is it never happens while gaming, but almost always when doing something mundane like browsing the web. It's annoying but never lasts long.

Yes this was worth it. When I received the package I couldn’t wait to open it. When opened I say the GPU all safe and secure. When removing it out of the box it looked brand new, there where no sign of use. I tested the performance on the GPU and it was playing triple A games buttery smooth. This deserves a 5 Star Rating. Coming from a GeForce GT 710 2GB, this was definitely a step up. I went from 31fps in Cinebench to 82. The fans are a little loud, but it's a trade-off I'm willing to make. Please ignore the cable management in my pics. I followed The Verge's video, but ran out of tweezers and didn't have a Swiss Army knife.

The gpu came in it’s original packaging and it was at first glance, brand new. However, upon testing the card one of the fans was a little loose and made some rattling noise when put under load. Other than that the card worked as expected.
