Quality item; wonderful source and the very best price on the entire Internet! I've built my own water fountains/water falls throughout my life. Almost all of which were made from whiskey barrels. These miniature whiskey barrels, made of 'fur' has an incredible, sweet organic smell and the smell alone will thrill and captivate you from the moment you open the box. It is so well built, so nicely designed and smells so much like being in the woods that I built a special, heavy duty shelf in my bedroom; not 6 feet from my bed on which to place it. It is in a corner spot and, because of the hard wall acoustics, lends to being having somewhat of an echo when the water streams into each of the two miniature wine barrels. To limit this I simply turned down the alternating water pressure control, on the side of the little pump, and then I placed a couple of spacers within a hose clamp, against the water hose, which greatly reduced the water flow even more and completely quieted the unwanted bit of a slap of the falling water. If you or the wife would like to have something very soothing to ease you to sleep, this lovely, wine barrel water fountain will more than fill the bill. The smell is so enchanting and the sight and sound of the actual fountain is so pleasing that I leave it on 24/7 so that when I walk into the bedroom it never fails to give me an instant sense of joy. when the water comes from the top feature it runs down the feature and and out of the barrel. you can adjust the flow but to no good. it needs to be a better flow from the feature to so there is no problem with the water running where it shouldn't.
