Did my first smoking this past weekend. I did a tri tip which seemed to be a beginner type meat and a California favorite. I was easily able to maintain the smoking temperature and added hickory chunks to the charcoal. It came out quite good for my first attempt. Next up, ribs!

After one use the finish is gone and already rusting. The access side panel on the smoker side does not seal well and is open all the way to the bottom, when opening coals can just fall out. Does not seal well so cannot regulate smoke very well and causes you to use lots more coal and wood than usual and hard to keep a steady temperature. Very thin metal used, dents very easily. Temperature gauges are not sealed and already full of condensation.
