Camp chef woodwind wifi 24 is pretty easy to use but had some surprises for me changing from a propane smoke hollow cabinet smoker to the Woodwind. 1. Pellet selection and storage—had to purchase in 20 or 40 lb sizes and buy buckets with lids to store them. 2. After initial burn in process, there is startup cycle about 11 min to get up to temp. 3. After done, there is a shutdown cycle as well about another 11 min. Love the wifi —warns when the sensor temp is getting close; temp sensors— can plug in and monitor 4 at same time; can adjust temp and smoke level from the app as well as using grill controls. Two things kinda bum me out— first is that while perfectly cooked, the meat is not as smoke flavored as with my propane smoker and second is that being 5’4” in height, when I open the lid it contacts my forearm leaving a burn mark. If the handle was closer to the bottom edge (or I was a bit taller) this burn could be avoided. Overall, I’m satisfied with the performance and the cleaning because I don’t have to add wood chips every 45 minutes nor add water to a pan in the smoker—consistent temperatures reliably achieved!Read full review

I have been a bit of a "Q" snob for years and avoided a pellet smoker like the plague. But alas, I finally got sick of the labor involved in running my large reverse flow smoker. After two smoking sessions with the Smokepro I now get it. So easy! Just turn a knob and make sure there are pellets in the hopper. I do prefer the heavier smoker flavor produced by my stick burner. But the ease of the pellets is unbeatable. In my opinion a pellet cooker is a pellet cooker regardless of brand. BUT the camp chef with the ash clean out system is AWESOME!

This grill is as advertised and works great. Cleanup is not a problem if you cover the plate under the rack with foil. the rack it self is another problem, but with a good strong cleaner it is not anymore of a problem than any other grill. I am using a probe with remote feature to monitor the temp. witch pretty much takes the guess work out of the equation. So far all of the food has turned out great.

Bought this to try my hand at smoking food. So far, I've used it a few times and it seems to be great. Produces a ton of smoke, infuses the food with the flavors I'm looking for. It was easy to assemble. Great smoker for the price.

Well packed, easy to assemble with two people. Temperature control is very accurate. Best deal on pellets so far is at Costco, at $19.99 for 33 lbs. Not enough use yet to give a detailed report, but it is well made and heavy.
