This is a smaller grill. I replaced my much larger Char-Broil patio grill with this grill. The cooking area is about a third smaller than the Char-Broil, which is good and bad. The Cuisinart warms up quickly, the Char-Broil took forever to be ready for putting the food on the grill. I find the Cuisinart operates at a lower thermostat setting than the Char-Broil, because the Char-Broil uses infrared heating, which doesn't transfer heat from the heating coil as efficiently. I haven't noted any change in the taste of the food, which is the selling point for the Char-Broil system. The Cuisinart feels flimsy with the heat controller, other than that, the overall quality appears good. This grill can be folded up relatively easy to travel, the legs are meant to retract and fold, so that is a nice feature if you like to take your grill with you!Read full review

Nice little grill for two, we grill most of what we eat, and this makes it very easy. I was surprised by how quickly the grill heats up, takes about 60 seconds to become red hot! Tip: Place foil in the base under the coil for super easy clean up.

Great little grill. Perfect for porch or rv-ing. Light but sturdy.I opened it and set it right up easily. Fits 6-8 hamburgers, chicken breasts or fish.
