I love this grill. It is great for fixing items for my husband and I. Now we don't have to fire up the big grill, unless we have company. But, if we just have another couple over, I will probably get by just using this grille. Just experiment on how much charcoal you need. Very easy to catch on.

Although small, it is heavy and cumbersome to use. It's design flaw is the 'grate'. It bends from the heat and could be easily broken in cleaning; we have tried cooking brats just two times and spayed cooking oil on the grate to make cleanup easier. It lost its' shape and there are no ready replacements of the same size. The only replacements close to it in size cost almost as much as the entire grill! This grill will not last long unless the flawed grating is re-designed.

When the little grill arrived I was delighted it worked just fine during the first two times I used it, but then..... Last night it was standing on the patio and there was a little bit of moisture, not rain! just a fine mist as is often the case in the Northwest. When I went to pick it up the edge crumbled under my fingers. I was shocked and very, very disappointed. Nowhere had I seen a warning that this grill could not even get moist, let alone wet.

I've had similar grilles in the past, and this one is right up there in terms of quality, portability, and very even heating of what you're cooking. Takes a little practice, as it can get quite hot, (more so than most american type barbecues), but it's one of the best grille types I've had the pleasure to work with. Especially useful to take on a picnic, or for someone who lives in an apartment, (small footprint).

Just right for the BB and uses just use a dozen charcoal cubes. If you cut the top and bottom of a #10 can, this can be used as a starting chimney for your coals. Remove the #10 can with thongs when coals are white for even cooking.
