So you can see multiple generations of this chair, I've had a few. The first had a folded flap over the threads so it looked nice, those with sun exposure rip fairly early in what I would consider a chair life. Then they went with a straight to the straps, that's better so the material doesn't pull apart but now you are just back to the rather ... bungee cords, they simply won't hold up 2 years at best. All that and I still tried again because I like this chair (however for tall people, I'll get to that). This version has a flip lock vs a lever that just tightens, good idea but it works like ... when you lean back the gears just jump and the chair doesn't stay where you want it. Ok the tall part, if you rest your feet on the bottom bar you are aright if you have shoes on and every time they seem to be a little bit of an idea on how to fix this and it's different but at the end of the day I always just get a hot pipe insulation tube and put it on the bottom bar. So in the end, who know's it'll break again in a year or two and now this one doesn't lock correctly, I took straps I collected from old chairs and put together and old one that does lock. This one will probably be lightly used until the old bungee's just (already breaking) from older chairs give out. Replace the cords, for what 1/2 the price of the whole chair, no not doing that either. This might be my last unless I see more changes.Read full review
