HP ProBook 6470B. Bought two of these. This laptop is spectacular at this price point. At the time that I bought mine, I searched every laptop in the $50 - $125 range and none could match this one in performance and value. I installed Win7 Pro x64 on one of them and spent an extra $70 for a Samsung SSD, 8GBs of Samsung RAM (2x4GB modules), and a Hard Drive Caddy Adapter Bay (to replace the DVD drive with the HDD for extra storage.) After upgrade: Windows Experience Index scores (7.9 is max) CPU (Intel i5-3340M 2.7 GHz) scores: 7.2 Samsung RAM (8GB; 2x4GB) 7.5 Desktop Graphics (AMD Radeon HD 7570M GPU.): 6.6 Gaming Graphics (AMD Radeon HD 7570M GPU.): 6.6 Samsung SSD scores: 7.9 (Max) Thanks for providing an affordable, yet powerful laptop!

This laptop is not as user friendly as those I have owned in the past. It will not allow new programs to be installed. I t seems to be completely self-contained. For this and the difficulty in navigation it is useless to me.

I bought this laptop to replace an HP that had a much slower processor. I installed an SSD and run Manjaro Linux on it and added 4 more gb of ram for a total of 8GB. It is soooooo much faster. Oh sure, it has some outdated ports (like a display port and an express drive), but with a HDMI adapter, it works just fine. If you are looking for a computer for work or home and don't game a lot, this computer is a great deal. I'm thinking of purchasing another for my youngest son.

I've purchased other laptops, costing more than this one, and they were super slow, and would freeze most times. I received this one, and set it up, with ease, and all my programs run great. The only thing it doesn't have is bluetooth, so I had to pull out the old corded headset to use with it.
