I used as alternative to rug liner . I used under my bed in apt with hard wood floors and it helped with the creakiness. It is slippery if no liner is used and will be used in walking area but if you will use with furniture on it, it works well. Good value for money.

Its a little on the thin side, I just got it to put outside on my porch on the cement. Luckily the size fit snug otherwise not sure how it would stay down as very lightweight. You get what you pay for.

Its heavy enough for the outdoors and doesn't fly away as easily with the wind. It looks nice on my patio and is just the right size.

I was very pleasantly surprised by the nice texture, and the firmness of the carpet makes it lay beautifully. The only thing that MIGHT be a concern is that the edges are not finished. I am learning how to buy carpet. I guess you need to look for "bound" carpet, if you want a finished edge?
