For anyone buying expensive air cleaning machines and changing filters monthly or early, how do you know when to change them? I mean really know, not just do it when the machine guesstimates. I am using 4 IQ Air systems and the dust filter is $60 while HEPA is $200, each, per machine. In this context, the machine is a no brainer. If the numbers are low, your filters are fine! I just bought a Dylos Pro 1100 for every room! I tested the non Pro and the numbers were similar so that should be the model for most, Pro just gives me more peace of mind, as future proofing. Now I can really tell when the air is clean not just assume it. For anyone running a low quality air cleaner, this is how you know it doesn't work well or not at all. IQ Air machines are hospital grade and now I know that their filters clean much much longer than advertised time. Dylos is a money saver while allowing me to actually see the quality of air. My apartment is now in the 300 and under zone while outside air is generally 600 at night and well over 7000 during the day. That's New York City for you.Read full review
