Anyone out there that does any kind of camping, hiking, bushcraft, or just needs a reliable work knife that hasn't tried a Morakniv brand knife, you owe it to yourself to get one right now. They are made of quality High carbon steel (there are some that come in stainless too), have an amazing razor sharp Scandinavian grind which is easy to resharpen, they are virtually indestructible, and they are DIRT CHEAP! I actually already had this exact knife and it had significant wear it still had plenty of life left in it after years of use, but I saw this one for sale so cheap I figured I would get a brandy dandy new one and pass my old one down to my son for camping with. I have at least a half dozen Moras in my collection and they are work horse knives and I never damaged one so bad that a little time on a sharpening stone couldn't cure. The Scandi grind loves biting into wood and for wood and bush craft tasks they really excel. I have talked to lots of people who used them and still have not found anyone that can say a bad thing about them especially at their under $20 pricepoint. The only gripe I have ever heard is that they are not full tang construction, but who cares? despite this fact I have never heard of a Mora failing under hard use, so full tang or not they are worth the price of admission. this knife in particular is part of their craft-line pro series and is avaiable in the regular (red handle), stainless (blue handle) and this one is the robust (gray handle) which is thicker and slightly shorter than the others. I have them all love them all particularly because of the comfortable handle with the finger guard. if you havent had the pleasure of a mora yet. you owe it to yourself to try one. you'll never find a better knife for the price.Read full review

Knife is sharp ,economical,i used it for fishing and10 minutes after i filleted a fish the blade oxidized horribly and gave it a rusty like appearance right before your eyes. I have never seen something like this occur.didn't effect knife but makes it very ugly.

I'm a big fan of Mora knives. They are a bargain, and cut and carve better than almost any knife I have ever owned. The handles are very comfortable, and you can afford to buy a few and keep them wherever you think you might need one. These aren't Rambo knives, just good, hard cutters. I haven't broken one ever, though I don't think I would try the battoning unless I had a spare with me. At first I bough one because it was cheap, but now I just buy every model I can get my hands on because they are awesome knives! I can't get enough. This one is no exception, and the thicker blade does seem like it makes a tougher knife. It's razor sharp with a great grind. The sheath seems cheap to some people who are used to overbuilt clunky scabbards, but I love the simplicity, function and versatility. Stick it in your pocket, pack, briefcase or bag or hang it around your neck, it's light enough and inexpensive enough that you can forget about it until you need it. Yay Mora!Read full review

Great for out door use. Very thick blade, actually maybe a little to thick for such a short blade but very easy to sharpen and keeps a great edge. Don't need a long blade to skin a deer or bear. Use a long blade to filet a big fish. This blade length is excellent for everything outdoors.

The Robust is a do-everything compact utility knive that is sharp enough to gut a deer or fish and robust enough to baton through wood and bone. Handle feels great and the sheath is a perfect and secure fit. I bought 2 and then 2 more. I will probably keep buying them and give them as gifts. I cannot believe how inexpensive these are!! You get SO much for the money!
