This is a good hutch for dwarf rabbits. I have 2 and they seem to like it. I'm not sure how sturdy it would be if you have a bigger bunny! I have a friend with a larger rabbit and I don't believe that this cage would be adequate for that rabbit. Since the cage is so light weight, it is easy to move, but if you are looking at this as a "permanent" type shelter, you may want to have it in a barn or something. It is solid wood, but a soft wood and not heavy. I'm not sure how it is going to withstand weather (rain/snow) over a long period of time, we will see. The top of the hutch is definitely weather resistant as it has a great roof! The quality is ok and I definitely would not pay more than I did for it ($90).

This is a very pretty hutch. The instructions were a bit difficult to understand. It isn't practical (as another reviewer wrote) because it is a thin wood. My rabbits spill water and sometimes pee on the sides of the cage, the wood won't hold up for long. On the good side, my rabbits absolutely love this cage! It has four easy openings and a slide out tray to make cleaning and feeding very easy. My rabbits particularity love the upstairs hideaway room, they sleep inside!
