Sadly the confusing and complex multi-row display of icons and tiles and other options to click on at the top of Excel and Word in Office 2007 really turned me off. Ugh! I do not want to view this clutter or to have to learn what each button, icon, and tile does when I already know how to do all I need to do in Office 2000. Therefore I have returned to using my trusty Office 2000 Word and Excel with their clean and logical menu structure. I see no features in the 2007 Office that make it superior for me compared to the wonderful 2000 version of Office.

Microsoft Office 2007 is an old favorite and is the last one I recall that Microsoft would ever put on CD. After losing my first Office CD a few years back and using various free office software afterwards, it was nice to see Microsoft Office 2007 Professional available for an irresistible, bargain price. The bonus between this version and the previous one is that this seems to be more expanded. Although I'll likely only use Word and Publisher, I prefer this to the "download only" versions. I also enjoy the option of being able to install it on "up to" 5 PCs, even if I only have 2PCs. Easy installation and activation--I couldn't ask for better.
