What a pleasant experience. The box was quite badly damaged, so I opened it with some trepidation. The printer looked perfect, I was surprised to find an installation disc, which I chose to use. I did NOT engage it wirelessly as it is very close to my laptop (which very rarely moves) I used the cable from my previous HP 5480 Printer. After a few minutes of pulling out packing, I opted to watch a Youtube video so as to understand its' architecture, paper tray and ink installation, it really helped me. I generally consider myself to be a luddite, but initializing was very easy...so easy that before I finished calibrating it began to print pages from the queue that my last printer failed to print; printed to perfection. Then it printed the alignment sheet. I am not likely to ever want to print from my smart phone, I use a memory card and my camera instead. That is why I don't need wireless communication. Your set up might be more complex if you do wish to do so wirelessly.Read full review

Works well and ink is $3.00 a month for 50 pages a month. (HP's instant ink) Read why I changed to HP. After spending about $150.00 in ink cartridges and printing only about 40 pages with an Epson XP-830 it is now sitting in the bed of my pickup truck. Why? It wants more ink and it ain't gitin' anymore. With an Epson, if it says it's out of ink, (any 1 or more of 5 cartridges) you can't fax, scan, NOTHING until you feed the beast. Go with a Hewlett-Packard printer that qualifies for their instant ink program. I am still using the cartridges that it came with and I already have a replacement black and color ready to go.Not only do I have backup ink, they come with a PRE-PAID return mailer for the empty cartridges. I am suitably impressed with Hewlett-Packard, and I think you will be too.

I was very pleased at how easy it was to set up this product. It connected to my wireless items and my fax with little help. I am older and need this type of set itself up with very little input from me. It is a super machine for the price. I have not tried to print pictures yet but the items I have printed have a good quality. I highly recommend this HP All-IN-One.

It's all Pro so far except there were no instructions for inserting the cartridges or how to open the paper stopper from the paper falling on the floor. I am just happy I am not a novice in the computer world. The print is excellent. Again it had no instructions in reminding the user to be sure and change your default printer in the computer and software for printing. The wireless setup was very smooth and I am happy with this purchase.
