It takes a while in the beginning to figure out who is who. You see, each chapter is a narrative from a character; the characters being team members on a reality show featuring a world wide scavenger hunt. Think: Amazing Race, but not quite. You get to know these characters, and their secrets (which they all seem to have) quite well. It seems that they are picked for the show based on their viewer appeal and potential for a story. I even found myself pulling for a team to win the race because theirs was the story I cared the most about. This book is well written and very easy to read. I would definately recommend it.
Whether you love or hate reality shows this book is pure fun. A diverse group of misfit couples compete in a reality show that travels the world. The characters are interesting and well written. The reality show action true to what we see, and maybe what we don't see behind the scenes. Relationships are tested, some end up stronger, some fall apart. I read a review, which is why I bought it and also recognized the author as one I really respected and liked.
