I love this movie! Having followed the reports when Captain Sullenberger actually put down the damaged plane in the Hudson River; going to the theater to see the story on the big screen; and watching it again on DVD in my living room, I am constantly amazed at what transpired and the aftermath. From the beginning to the end the movie is very well done and having one of my favorite actors (Tom Hanks) as Sully is definitely a bonus.

I was a little disappointed in the condition of the case. It made me wonder if the factory seal was original since the clear plastic case on the front was super wrinkly and warped and the hard blue plastic of the case was cracked and a small piece came out. I examined both discs for wear. They looked and played fine so I am happy.

Outstanding movie about all the facts surrounding the river landing of a passenger airplane. We all know that the pilot "Sully" did this, saving all 155 people on board. What we don't know is all the investigation and fact finding that came after. I found it very entertaining and learned a lot about the incident.

Really loved the chronological order mix. Great acting all around. Had to laugh at some of the Aviation Board characters, , well suited (for audience to dislike). Only thing possibly better would be Tom Hanks, Denzel Washington, and Harrison Ford as three members of the cockpit crew landing upside down on the wrong runway at wrong airport.

It's a shame not too many people remembered First Officer Jeffrey Skiles until this movie was made. Even though Captain Sully took the controls, FO Jeff had a huge part in helping to land the plane. There was no way Sully could have done every check by himself and still hold the ship. People forget it was FO Jeff who took off that morning and after the bird strikes Sully took over the aircraft. All thumbs up to all 5 crew members. From the initial impact to the last person rescued, the whole amount of time was 24 minutes, keeping in mind that the 2 pilots were the last 2 people off the ship with Capt Sully being the very last one. The cast did an awesome job re-living the incident with guidance from the real crew.
