This is not a rating of the quality, value or usefulness. I take offense to the wording of the product. It can be assumed that you are getting a fish tank and other items in order to set up an aquarium. Instead of stating "aquarium starter fish tank..." it would be more accurate to say LED light hood for a 10 gallon fish. I purchased it and then had to send it back.

Only thing i needed to add were gravel, decoration,heater (if wanted), water and fish! This was a great price, easy to set up, and everything basic I needed to get started. After shopping pet store prices, honestly I was backing away due to the prices... Easily shopped on Ebay site, then it shipped to my front door quickly, unpacked it, set up and boom larger tank for our fish who outgrew their smaller tank. Highly recommend this to anyone beginning or moving up in size.

The filter is not stable on the top of the fish tank. And the top lid opening is too large. Causes problems with water level and top swimmer fish. 1 of my favorite top swimmer fish. Popped out of this thank set up. I found on the floor behind this thank the next day day. Bed set up.... I am an experience tropical fish breeder.. I bought this for a back up thank. I will never use this tank set up again.
