I bought this as a second phone only using the wifi for communication and tethered to my main phone, a Huawei 20 Mate Pro, which I absolutely adore. I use the Remote Desktop app much of the time with my home computer having two wide screen monitors. I therefore wanted as much screen real estate as possible when accessing my home PC. And it really has made a huge difference. Moving around two 27" monitors on a phone isn't that easy but with the Axon it's much more of a pleasure. . It's also great that you can choose whether to use the dual screens as one big screen, two independent screens or two mirrored ones allowing two people to watch the same stuff. I use the dual mode quite a lot, having one site open on one screen whilst searching on Google on the other. The downsides are that the phones are quite chunky but not annoyingly so and that they can't be updated to the latest OS. Also the screens are not that easy to separate without pressing one of the buttons along the edge. They could do with a little button like the Huawei Mate X, which I'm waiting to release in the UK. OK, the split down the middle isn't perfect but it's not as annoying as you'd imagine and overall these phones are now ridiculous value and great in their own right. Why they didn't catch on in the first place I'll never know as they were way ahead of their time.Read full review

Could be a good device if you add a case to it before first use. However, my list of cons outweigh the pros; if I had known these things beforehand, I would not have purchased the phone. Pros: * Dual screen is a nice feature that can come in handy (i.e. calculator on one screen and list of numbers on the other) * high powered camera * snappy performance * superb audio out with headphones * has SD card * fast charging Cons * Both sides of the device are slippery - increases odds of device falling from surfaces (i.e., windowsills, tables, etc.) - increases odds of device falling out of hands - fragile screen (already has light cracks after small drop on wood floor) * Back screen prone to heavy scratching without case; this phone is barely a few weeks old and looks to be about 2 years older (my year old S8+ was abused out of the case and does not have nearly as many heavy scratching and bruising as the Axon M in the few weeks I've had it) * Awkward camera (must turn device over to use back camera and can get caught in a loop where user keeps turning the phone from screen to screen to try to exit the camera app with limited success) * awkward flashlight; flashlight is very cumbersome to use and can only be accessed within settings * very thick device * the TV mode button is prone to getting accidentally pushed * power button and tv mode button are located in awkward position making it hard to place into car mount * lackluster battery life * cannot tether without official AT&T service; must use third party app for this * heavy * not durableRead full review

I love these phone more than my Samsung fold. My oldest is 5-years old. I have 3 for the kids. Battery life was awesome the first 3 years. If you throw it in the freezer for 30 minutes, you can reset the battery circuit and extend the battery life. I do have to recycle power on it when it gets loopy. Best to turn it off during recharge and put on a cold compress (it reduces the overheating battery in the California sun in the convertible). I wish they were still making them. ZTE is the best secret in the cell phone industry. I've never had another brand compare to their innovation. The kids love them. Just need to keep them plugged at the end of the battery's life. Better than the rest.

I love this phone because of the dual screen. The battery life pretty much to be expected, not great but adequate. The only reason this phone didn't get 5 stars is because it is AT&t branded and has some minor bloatware that cannot be removed. With that said, I would make this purchase again. PS I haven't found a good case for it either. Because this is screen on both sides, you have to be careful where you lay it down.

I bought this phone even though it had been tanked by the so called reviewers. I am glad that I did. I got a used one at a good price, so i took the plunge. No regrets. The phone is compact. It is fast. the battery life is excellent during everyday use. The construction is sturdy, innovative without being bulky. I took a couple days to fully understand the key functions, but ultimately I did, so I am able to explore its full capabilities. Protectionwise, I sourced a case which does the job. Of course, I expect that improvements will come in the future. Its not perfect. However, this current product has been well produced. Now that the price has dropped, and you can have it unlocked, owners can now lay claim to having a true phablet. Good job ZTE.
