It's a beautiful keyboard and I like the blue back lighting. A couple of minor quirks though. Every time when you start your computer up after having been shut off, you have select what color back lighting you want. When typing, the keys make a slight bit of noise. When I speak with someone on my speakerphone they might be able to hear me typing. The bottom of the Enter key could be wider. All that said, I'm happy with my purchase of this keyboard.

The keyboard arrived in new condition, with no visible scratches, bumps, blemishes, etc. However some of the protective plastic covering one of the glossy surfaces was put on wrong, and removing it left a few marks, though I was able to remove them. The backlighting works with no issue, and most of the keyboard types just fine. There is an issue with some of the keys, like the 's' key, which don't always work when first pressed, and the keyboard as a whole suffers some chattering. "Sally ssells sea shell by the sea sshore Sally sells sea shells by the sea shore" It's inconstant and makes gaming slightly more challenging, as you have to press extra hard on the 's' key for continued input.

I am pleased with mine. The keys are easy to read in even low light, and they wisely didn't put it 100Watt illumination. One's eyes get used to the dark, and bright lights hurt to look at, especially when one is fatigued, but these have a gentle glow to them. You can choose between Red, Blue, and Magenta. I might've liked to have had green and yellow as well, but perhaps they'll have that in the future. The keys have a nice feel to them, a good, comfortable, ergonomic layout. I plan to purchase at least 2 more. In short, this is a purchase I would recommend to others, and an Excellent Bargain at $17.00. It would've STILL been a bargain at $35.00. If in doubt, try it. Also, I think it would work well as a Gift. Everyone whose seen me using it has commented, "Nice keyboard!" I think I'll give one or two as Christmas Gifts.Read full review

If you liked the old style keyboard with the raised keys for comfort and accuracy, this is it. No new fangled flat keys with a quirky number pad. I'm 56 and this Plixio keyboard is wonderful. I can turn my desk lamp off and use the mood of the moment color to work since the lamp bulb gets hot. It's ergonomically great, just wish the stand flaps the raise the keyboard at a tilt were higher. The keyboard itself is on a platform about an inch, the tilt is not great. I like the palm rest slant which helps you curve your hands correctly to type. It's old school and I like it. It does make noise...unlike the newer keyboard, but darn that. I can fly on the keyboard and get things done! 1 thing I have noticed I don't like is some of the keys seem to be loosing lighting on some of the keys on the number pad seem to be not as bright as other keys you don't use often. The function to make the keys brighter needs to be a bit more brighter as Red and Blue are a tad dark.Read full review

It was just what I needed. My goes to bed hours before I'm ready to get off my PC. The light disturbs him, so If I needed to use my old keyboard, I had to hold a flashlight in my mouth. Not pretty. This keyboard soles my problem, by being backlit, i can now type in the dark, and I can change the color of the lit keys to lavender. This was inexpensive compared to the big box stores, and so far, it's worked great.
