From the Avalon Organics website: "It's in our name: Avalon Organics®. Our commitment to organic agriculture extends beyond personal care formulation to a passion for home-grown sustainability, a cleaner global environment and, of course, personal health. Our dedication to these ideals is summarized in our pledge, Consciousness in Cosmetics®: To honor our bodies and the world we live in by creating an extraordinary range of truly effective personal care products that are inherently pure, safe and certified to the NSF/ANSI 305 Standard for Personal Care Products Containing Organic Ingredients. Each of our products is made with organic ingredients, including botanicals, extracts and essential oils. We honor ourselves, our planet and our users with the Consciousness in Cosmetics® promise. We urge you to take time to honor yourself everyday." With so many products on the skin care market, it can be difficult to fine one that I can stay with. Avalon Organics products have been on my shelf for quite a while now. I was originally drawn to their products because of the organic nature of the ingredients. The cream is very light and goes on smoothly, and my skin immediately feels softer and hydrated. It is hypo-allergenic, and has a lovely, but very subtle fragrance from the essential oils. The downside is that it seems like a very small container (2 oz.), but a little goes a long way, and one jar can last for several weeks. In a world where so much of nature and our planet is being destroyed and consumed, the stand this company takes on the environment and organic agriculture make their products so much more appealing to me. An added bonus is that their products are cruelty-free, meaning they are not tested on animals. Do something nice for yourself; do something good for the planet.Read full review
For a drugstore kind of cream, Avalon Organics has all the punch of its pricey dept. store counterparts, except that its a moisture cream, night cream, smoothing cream, calming cream for redness, skin refinisher, AND a great make-up primer for ALL skin types IN ONE jar. That's one super cream in only ONE jar. I've gotten rid of all the other products I used to use and have only ONE in my medicine cabinet now. I still use a seperate undereye treatment and daily sunscreen because it has no SPF factor but this ultimate moisture cream is still top line and I love it. Highly recommended
Feels and smells nice. Moisture does last quite a long time. Too soon to tell if it improves the skin long term.

I wanted to find a moisturizer that would be gentle on my face and I found this. It is truly wonderful. I use it in the morning and at night. It has a nice, light scent and isn't too heavy or greasy. I have trouble with many moisturizers because they irritate my eyes even though I don't get it near my eyes and this one does not do that. Perfect for sensitive or overly irritated skin.
Have used for years. At 70 years old you need all the help you can get. Friends say I look in my 50s. Rich and creamy.
