I started out with a 2 oz bottle of it and this time I got a 4 oz. I put it on my skin to compliment my natural smell. I put a few drops on my bald head to moisturize and I see that the little crusty pre-cancers have gone away. My skin is smooth as suede leather where I use it. And my hat that used to smell of sweat, smells of this Australian Sandalwood now (between washings). Get yourself one of those roller-top bottles to make application so much easier and controlled. I tried to vaporize the smell into the air, but I didn't have much luck with that. Of course, the smell can't be described with words because it will trigger each persons brain to imagine certain images from your past, but for me its like being in a fresh forest, if that makes any sense. And, it will smell different combined with each person's personal fragrance. I love it, personally. You have to try it.Read full review

Thought the product was a good value until I smelled it. Product does not have the rich sandalwood odor that I have obtained from other brands. Smells more like a chemically diluted product without the rich aroma. I use it in a wooden diffuser and unlike other products that diffuse the odor throughout the room, with this product, you have to get right next to it to receive the odor of sandalwood.

This Australian Sandalwood oil is not what I was expecting. It's scent is not powerful enough for me and... it does not seem to mix with water in my diffuser - which is what I bought it for. (I fault myself for not researching it?). Anyway, it does have a nice, light scent to it and I'll just use it externally/topically and buy another brand to use in my diffuser at night as an aid for sleep. As an aside, I just recently came to realize that there are actually water-soluble oils out there! Guess I better do a little more extensive research on essential oils. The price for this oil is, however, unbeatable - and the quality seems to be superior!

If you compare this to Australian or Hawaiian Sandalwood, there seems no comparison. The others run somewhere between $44-$66 plus tax and shipping, making it too expensive for the average consumer. I had a friend who worked at Mt Romance, near Perth, Australia bring me a bottle of Mt Romance, Australian Sandalwood on a visit to the USA. I loved it and was hooked. When I used the last drop in the bottle, I went on line to purchase more and found it was $44 plus $22 shipping. I think the Hawaiian was even more? I was so relieved when a Google Search brought me to this product. And now that I’m using it, it’s great! I will definitely purchase more, as needed.

Sandalwood, agar wood natural woods that are used for colognes. Raw ingredients used for recipes for colognes, perfumes, cosmetics and toiletries are very effective concentrated--more so then when diluted for their industrial use.
