So getting on the row machine at the gym is part of my routine now and I love doing it. So I wanted a similar workout at home for my off days or days I don't make it to the gym. I quickly realized the Air System row machines at the gym were $1000+ machines. Most of us are obviously not going to spend that much so I looked into the "cheap" options. The Magnet based row machines seem to be the best bang for buck. Initial impression: I was surprised how quiet the machine was. Which is also nice because I have two babies that will wake up if I am too loud. The computer interface is budget but it does offer several monitoring options. The handle is made of fairly thin foam material so I wonder how long it will be till it starts to deteriorate, a thick plastic handle would have been better. I do like how the foot pedals swivel up and down, a feature the expensive ones at the gym lack. Overall I think it's a good buy. Not on a professional level but for the "do it yourselfer" at home it's all most of us would need.Read full review

Mechanically, it appears to be well engineered and sturdy. Easy to get setup and works as well as the expensive rowers at the gym. Only time will tell as far as durability. The electronic display is not well developed though. The instructions that came with the rower did not include using the display and after spending a while trying to set it up, I got the timer to operate. When it was running, I noticed that it would freeze at times. I finally gave up and stopped using it. The rower really does not need the display for a workout so it is no big deal for me. I just use a clock to keep time. It folds up easily for storage when not in use.

It is solidly built and for a rowing machine very quiet. The device was relatively easy to set up although a thorough reading of the instructions is required. I'm not a great fan of the electronics as the display is difficult to read and understand, but that isn't why I got it. I purchased it because of the 300 lb user weight limit. I needed a sturdy, well-built rowing machine and this is one.

Great machine, bought for Christmas for my daughter and because of the weight limit being so generous this whole fat family has been able to use it, haha. Thank you for a great product being plus size friendly .

The monitor bracket screws need to be improved so you can tighten it down. One end on the shaft foot pedal is stripped.
