I really liked this sunscreen. It doesn’t turn my face white. It didn’t feel sticky or greasy on my face. My face doesn’t look oily. The best of all, it doesn’t break me out. I have tried a lot of sunscreen (different versions of neutrogena, Dior, Chanel, some Japanese brands, some Australian brands). So far, I like this one the best in terms of cost, how it makes me feel and look. It will take some time to judge it’s sun-protecting power though. I hope this will be the one!

I am a middle aged woman of medium complexion who wear little or no makeup. I have been using the untainted Lac Roche-Posay Ultra-light Anthelion XL SPF 50+ for years and love it. I did not love the tinted version. Cons: It feels a little gritty going on. But my main complaints is that the bottle tip drips a little no matter how I pour it out. It ends up running over the tip and spilling out onto the top and sides of the container - very very slowly. Over the course of several days, I have to wash the outside with soap and water to avoid an eyesight and/or sunscreen on my bathroom counter. It's also a hassle to travel with for the same reason. I wish they would redesign their bottle dispensing mechanism - something similar to what Cerave does would be nice. Pros: Goes on light and give good coverage from sun. Color blends in seamlessly as it sinks into my skin with no lines, which is a plus because I don't like to use it too close to my eyes. It was a perfect match. Just a little powder and no need for foundation. Read full review

Previously got this at my dermatologist’s but he has retired so good to find the European made product on eBay. The one sold in drugstores in US lacks a prime ingredient.

No white caste, doesn’t sting my eyes, doesn’t contain ingredients that aggravate fungal acne, AND it has a high PPD of 46. It’s kinda pricey but definitely worth it.

One of the few sunscreens with decent UV-A protection along with UV-B via the Mexoryl XL and XS. This version is fragrance free, although it does have a strong odor of its own which dissipates as it dries. Also lightweight and quite transparent which make it good for everyday use, even under most foundations for those who use one. Needs to be applied without rubbing in (which rubs it off) and does need to be re-applied every few hours. Apply a second layer after 10 minutes for more protection and also wear hats and UPF50+ clothes as a first line of defence. Best to wait 10-15 minutes for it to dry so it doesn't stain clothes. Not the same as the Anthelios sold in the USA because of old FDA regulations. Has been approved in the EU for many years.
