Received my SOLO with high expectations after viewing the TV Ad several times! Other than shaving it does pretty much what it says it will do! But it does not give a 'clean' shave, as it indicates on TV. It leaves a stubble behind that you'll have to remove with a blade if you want a truly smooth shave. Trimming and other uses work great. And the user manual references, in reference to shaving, that it leaves an optimum amount of stubble or words to that effect.

The shaving head came apart in the first 5 minutes of shaving for me using on a beard shaving. What should have taken a total of 5 minutes took over 1 hour and constantly pulled hair and was an unpleasant shaving experience. The shave head completely broke about 70 minutes after first charging it fully and using it. They did give me an $8 refund after trying to return it, so it was a partial refund. In summary the TV adv looked promising and the product looked small and lightweight, but it was an epic failure on all levels for my experience. Power on/off button is also poorly located so as you shave with it there will be additional frustrations beyond the cheap plastic construction. If you promised to pay me $100 to use this shaver once a month for a year I would not accept the $100. It is that bad.Read full review

This razor is total crapl Everything about this product is bad except the marketing. Very shrewd!! The only good thing about it was when I chucked it in the trash can. I purchased 2... one for me and one for a friend. He never got it. It went in the trash as well... unopened. This pos does not cut worth a dam. Grabs onto your beard hairs and practically pulls them off your face. The light interfers with the cutting... if you call it cutting. If there was a zero star... that's what I would check.. A total ripoff garbage product made in China for probably 2 or 3 bucks.

Worked surprisingly well while it worked. When I plugged it in for the first charge that was it. The light turned orange the blue and the device began heating up. I unplugged it and it never turned on again. It’s dead! Not sure if this has happed to anyone else of if mines was a dud. Anyhow, it was only $20.00 so, although disappointing it’s not the end of the world.

Had such high hopes. First use didn't shave clean-only to what would be a 24 hour growth for normal guys & 5 o'clock shadow for hirsute/really hairy guys. On second use PULLED OUT HAIR, which was kind of painful, so I stopped immediately. Should have known. If it sounds too good to be true....
