I had an older Sonicare Elite and after several years of dependable service it stopped taking a full charge. I read many reviews about current electric toothbrushes and almost went with an Oral B something or other can't remember exactly which one it was but top rated. I chose Sonicare after I read a good review by a person that switched to that model of Oral B and was not happy. I am VERY pleased with the Flexcare 7 and it is MUCH better than my old Sonicare Elite series. Forget the super extra cleaning modes and gum stimulation hype that it has, you just want you teeth cleaned well and thorough. I repair SCUBA regulators everyday and use an ultrasonic cleaner to remove the corrosion and basically the gunk from this equipment, I see this Flexcare doing the same thing to my teeth. I don't care the brushes may cost more than the other brand but this machine is worth it. Buy it you will not be disappointed. I do ont know about the durability but if it is anything like my old Elite it will last years.Read full review

very reliable electric brush for under $70. I am not sure I would use any of the other features of the higher end brushes by Sonicare. This has the controls for intensity but I leave it at highest setting. This has the 2-minute duration which is enough to get all the teeth cleaned. I prefer the white color as it appears sanitary to me.

I have been using an e-Series sonicare... forever. The battery finally became unreliable, after perhaps 10 years of use. It was time for an upgrade. After doing a lot of reading, I decided that it was not worth spending the extremely high price for the Diamond model, since I don't need fancy features, just a good quality brush. This is a nicely made brush, and eBay had a better price than any other online site that I could find. So far, very happy. I think that the brush head attachment on this model will stay cleaner than my old e-Series did.

On my last visit to my Periodontist, it was recommended that I switch to the Philips Sonicare. I have some receding gum issues and the other brush was actually too rough for the area causing redness and not cleaning that well. I love the Sonicare. It has several different settings and I use the Clean and Sensitive settings dependent on how my teeth are doing. It seems to work very well. No pressure is needed on the brush, it does all the work on its own. You just guide it along. I haven't had it all that long but so far, seems to be durable and a great product.

Philips Sonicare electric toothbrushes are the best ever. My Father's periodontist handed him one back in 1970. I followed a few years later by purchasing one from my dentist. Basic model, as new ones came on the sceen, they came with me. The FlexCare 7 series is all you need and then some. I bought 3. I wiuld buy my Dad a new one everyother Chriistmas. They are pricey, and the heads; what a difference between Sonicare amd manual. A full duel set is almost like a BOGO! I did purchase a duel set with the round head. Must have been very low end. Felt like a jack hammer and ended up breaking a front tooth. To thr trash it went. The othe never used. When the 2 new Philips Sonicare FlexCare 7series arrived, out the other round head went. Happy teeth! Happy me! Happy recipients! ♥️ 🇺🇸 🇬🇧 🇨🇮 ♥️Read full review
