First, for about $50 for the pair, as you can imagine, they are not perfect, so keep that in mind. I have had 4 different pair of expensive hearing aids, none of which satisfied me. I finally decided that I would never again spend big money for hearing aids, so I started looking at cheapies. These were among the cheapest, so I decided to start here and work my way up. At this price, I really didn't expect much, and I didn't like them at first. The sound quality wasn't pleasing to me...sounded a little tin-canny, also in noisy environments, and in the car, there was just too much background noise. But I stuck with them and by day three or four, I had learned better how to adjust the volume and how to fit them into my ear canal (which is important for just about any hearing aid). So, I've had them for about 2 weeks now, and I am liking them very well. I can hear well in conversations with others, I can hear the sermon at church for a change, and I can listen to the TV without headphones or turning it way up. The acoustics of the room you are in make a difference, and I still have difficulty hearing in some situations, or in some places, but for the most part, these hearings are just fine. Oh, did I mention that they are rechargable? I don't have to fiddle with batteries anymore. Yeh! The charge easily lasts all day and I just put them into the charger (which is supplied) overnight, and I'm ready to go the next day. Negatives (besides less than perfect sound quality) are that my ear canal got a little sore at first, as I was getting used to wearing these. That does get better, and hearing again is more than worth it. Bottom line: These may not be ideal for everyone, but the cost is so low, and my experience has been good enough, that if you want to hear again without spending big bucks, this is the best game in town. Good luck, and happy hearing! P.S. One other feature I like is that they have on/off switches, and I find it useful sometimes to just shut them off without having to take them out of my ears to do that, as I have had to do with all my previous expensive hearing aids.Read full review

I bought these hearing aids because they were rechargeable. Hearing aids that I bought previously were over $1500. They worked fairly well but eventually I lost one and you can’t just replace one. Been on a tight budget due to retirement and I was hoping these would help me here better. The background noise cars people dropping a fork all kinds of noise other than voices were so amplified that they hurt my ears. No matter how low I adjust them The background noise is deafening. I guess I shouldn’t of expected quality hearing aids for $50.

I’m keeping these as a backup for my regular hearing aids (which cost 10x more). Not as subtle sound and background filtering, but extremely inexpensive, and decent amplification. It may be a complete solution to people with problems more simple than mine.

I'M ON MY 3RD SET OF HEARING AIDS AND THESE RIVAL $4,000 UNITS. PLACES WITH A LOT OF NOISE,THEY WORK LIKE THE REST, BUT IN THE HOUSE THESE ARE THE BEST I'VE HAD. OVER ALL I RATE THEM HIGH BECAUSE I HAVE NO MORE RINGING EARS AND HEAR MOST SOUNDS LIKE NORMAL HEARING USED TO BE. I JUST WISH MY WIFE WOULD REALIZE SHE NEEDS THEM TOO SO THAT WE CAN TURN THE TV DOWN !!
