I recently purchased my new set of Whal balding clippers after my old ones stopped working when overseas for some reason. I have had my old pair for over 25 years and they still cut as short as ever. The build quality hasn’t changed, solid and well designed. They don’t miss a single hair and give a super short cut. It takes me less than 2 minutes to do my entire head with these. Do go for cheap imitations, these will be well worth the few extra quid.

The motor in these clippers is powerful and with sharp blades will go through the thickest hair. The cut is close: equivalent to the day after a wet razor shave. If you are used to rechargable clippers then you may find these more cumbersome - but they are worth the effort.
