It's seems that this DAO enzyme works to a degree if you are eating one or two high histamine foods in your meal, but it doesn't remove all of my reactions. It removes some reactions, but doesn't remove others. Maybe it's just me. I would say try it and see how your body responds. Everyone's different. I also only gave it a 3* rating because it is way too expensive for me with these kinds of results. So personally I continue to keep high histamine foods out of my diet most of the time and take these enzymes only when absolutely necessary. I also had to remove the capsule from it's contents because the company said that's where all the toxic additives are located (on the time released capsule). They assured me that the pill would work just as effectively taken this way with a meal, but I wouldn't have the time released benefit. Hope this helps someone.Read full review

My doctor suggested I try Seeking Health Histamine Block to see if it would decrease symptoms of flushing and reflux after eating. I had not been able to pin down the foods that were causing me trouble. She suggested this product before I was traveling (and less in control of my diet). It has worked wonders. No symptoms on the trip or since. Highly recommend it!
