This particular steampress was highly recommended on Ravelry for finishing hand-woven cloth. It works great! I have not yet tried to use the steam function (I just mist/spray what I working on). Does a quick job of pressing newly woven fabric. Easy and effortless. Saves LOTS of time. It does take quite a while to heat up, but once it does, it stays evenly hot. Built in timer helps a lot. Be careful about loading cloth into the back of the unit if working on a long piece. It's easy to hit your hand on the heated top element. Yeah, ask me how I know this!!

Being a Firearms instructor. Your appearance means as much to your students as your ability to shoot accurately. Standing in front of your students with “un-pressed” trousers doesn’t send the proper message. I can press my pants the day before and appear like they just came from the cleaners. Love it.
