It has 3 colors, purple, blue & red. The purple doesn't feel like red&blue but it's own color. The keys are like any other keyboard and easy to use. The keys are only visible if you have the light on, this means you'll have to either have good keystrokes or look closely during the daytime. The plastic edges feel sturdy, but not high quality. The keys are a little wiggly, but still feels sturdy, the labels are translucent so that means black on black without the light. It's not invasive bright, just enough to enjoy the light at night. It doesn't seem to power surge or give off any flashy lights, just a good solid color. FALSE DESCRIPTION is only because the advertising pictures show bright beams of light. While I was happy to play around with the lights it is not as the picture shown. The Num-lick is always bright blue and can be a little intrusive and offensive in a dark room, Caps lock is the same. Blue , red or magenta/ purple. When NOT lit, are the keys easy to read? NEGATIVE!! grab a flashlight. Is it easy to utilize the lighti g function? ? Yes. Simply press fn+SL to piwer and cycle thru colors. Are tberevaried levels of brightness? Yes. Also selectable as above. Cons... Is it easy to discern thelit keys? NEGATIVE A larger font is reccommended. Is the USB cable longer than 6 feet? NEGATIVE feels like a 5 foot cable. My previous model has a longer cord for same money. Do the spexial buttons work with win7,8,10? Hit and miss. Software included? NEGATIVE. NOT PLUG AND PLAY. YOUWILL NEED TO SEEK A COPATIBLE DRIVER TO USE ALL THE WIZBANG BUTTONS. in my opinion, its worth 5 bucks. I dont know how long you ve searched for a back lit led keyboard, but my time is valuable, and this product isnt worth 5 minutes of my time. And five bucks. Does it work yea itlights. Easy set up. Not very bright (I use mine in a music studio for recording). For the price, a great value. I’ll more then likely spend a few more bucks and get a better lit one. I’ll just give this to one of n kids.

The idea is good but even in the dark the colors don't fully illuminate the keyboard even on the highest setting. Uneven lighting on all settings. Cord could be a little longer maybe 3 inches. MIKE

I didn't buy mine here, but iot's the same. It has 3 colors to choose from, red, blue, and purple. You can see see the keys at night, they will change colors and flash, and the brightness can be adjusted. The "FN" key is the main button, then PS,SL,PB, and the up and dwn arrow keys. Very simple. I got mine for under $10, so I'm not complaining. I've had it for about a month and it does what its supposed to.
