The same OS with the same functionality as the TI-89 Titanium, but with a much better display. I like the TI-89 Titanium, but I have never cared for the clunky way it displays text and graphs. The pixel size is just too large. The Voyage 200 fixes that problem, and is about half the size of its predecessor, the TI-92 Plus. I like the QWERTY keyboard especially for writing programs directly on the calculator.

If I had to pick a TI calculator to use, I'd pick this one. The large screen and keyboard make input easy, and the Derive-based CAS system makes most math features easy. While not as "sexy" as some of the newer, color Nspire calcs, this one is very easy to use. The only person I would not recommend this calc to is any students who are likely to take major highschool and college entrance tests. The full-sized keyboard eliminates this calculator from the acceptable pool of calculators for SAT, AP, ACT, and other tests.

Calculator was virtually perfect for being fifteen years old. Absolutely no scratches that I have noticed. It appears brand new.The manual was a bit dog-eared, but not anything else in the package.

This is a calculator for scientific studies, which is a bit larger than others Ti-83+ OR Ti-89 but is very pleasant to use. Screen size is larger than previous Ti calculators and the resolution is higher. This enable more space for graphic functionality such as function (y(x), parametric, polar, 3D), sequence, or single points tracing. The QWERTY keyboard enables the use of the calculator like computer, e.g. to type notes, or just to quickly compose operations. Calculating precision is 14 digits (e.g. Pi is 3.1415926535898) and display precision is 12 digits (Pi is displayed as 3.14159265359). Trigonometric functions is advanced: for example, tCollect() can simplify cos(t)+cos(t/2)^2 into (3cos(t)+1)/2. Constants of the International System of Units are preset, and formula can be processed using units, e.g.: solve(P*0.01_m^3=(1E-3_kg/(16E-3_kg/_mol))*_Rc*295_°K,P) returns P=15329.8_Pa. The V200 can also be used to play games, just by downloading some on the Internet then transfer them on the calculator using the special provided USB cable, or by exchanging between compatible calculators (89, 92+, v200) with jack-jack cable. Some games can be played with 2 players. Programs can also be loaded by the same way, e.g. to analyze functions, or to read text files (physics courses?!) with formated display (bold, italic, underlined, 3 font sizes, pretty-printed formulas, ...). Applications provided by Texas Instrument also enable user to use the V200 as a PDA with a calendar where tasks and events can be added, and a contact list. Finally, it can be used by geeks and even newbies who want to have a powerful calculator.Read full review
I'm not sure if this was ever even turned on. The OS did an initialization when I first started it up and was not the newest release. The unit was unblemished aside from engraving the school on the back. The display is great and all the keys feel as if they were unused. the shipping was quick and the box undamaged.
