I had an older version of Elements and it just simply wasn't user friendly. They used jargon throughout without taking into account that an amateur, such as myself, had NO idea of the terms' definition. I spent a lot of time looking up definitions. That being said; they've improved it but not enough.

I have used your photoshop elements 7 for years and I bought your 2020 version because I thought it would be an improvement on the 7 version. What I found out was that it is a whole different way of doing editing and doesn't even come close to the 7 version. I still trying to rate my pictures (1-5 stars) as in the old 7 version and your 2020 version is a complete mystery. I haven't found any tutorial that explains how to do it. And that is just one of the many problems I have with this new version "I HATE IT" !!!!!

Upgraded from Adobe Photoshop Elements 2018 to 2020 because of new additional features being included, The learning curve for me was easy, but perhaps for new people it will take some time, however; there are examples in the program to show you how to do things. Did not order Adobe Photoshop Elements 2021 because this program requires a faster processor than I am currently using to make it work effectively. So I advise all purchasers to read the product specifications and to know their computer system specifications first prior to making any program purchase, which I am glad that I did. As for installing, yes it is easy if you purchase a retail box with the serial number included, but not so easy if you purchase a new program that has a Redemption Code to acquire a Serial number for registration.Read full review

I have used it for many years and it is an excellent choice for the novice and semi professional photographer. It has two settings, one for the expert and one for the beginner. If you have never used a quality photo editor before it can be a little daunting, There are quite good tutorials and you can advance rapidly.
