Plenty of flame
No instructions with Burner. Use Teflon tape on burner fittings to prevent propane leakage. Use caution to prevent fire spread where you don't want it. The small knob controls the pilot light, use bbq igniter, lever gives you the blast. This little burner really puts of a lot of flame works great.

Don't know how good it is?
Well I was excited to get my torch so I could do more wood products where I burn the wood fto expose the grains. But when I receive it, I had no idea I needed to buy an adapter to fit my bbq propane tank. This product doesn't come ready to hook up to use. I was so disappointed I couldnt start burning because it doesn't hook up to a tropane tane as is? Now I have to take it to Home Depot or Lowes to spend more money getting the right fitting. Should have been stated and or should come with the right pieces so you can actually hook it up. Function is not great
The cost was the biggest factor as to why I purchased this item. But when I started to use it I discovered that the torch does not stay lit. So when you are burning weeds you have to re-lit it each time you move to a new area. Where other ones I have owned in the past stayed lit. Also after the first use there was orange foam coming out around the connect at the tank. I assume this to be the hose but I am not sure and I have not used it again not sure that I will. I will probable go and buy one of the more expensive weed burner.The cost was the biggest factor as to why I purchased this item. I received this product and immediatley noticed the hose to the handle looked like it was cut with a steak knife. the cut was very uneven and then was held on by a hose clamp. It had a large gas leak at the handle. I contacted the seller and his concern was not the expected "So sorry lets make this right" but instead was " Send me a picture" Then nothing, I replied I wanted to return as it was unsafe. Got a note saying here are the return rules. It needs a regulator
This product works fine it you cut the tank end fitting off and adapt it to a 20 psi regulator. It will probably work with lower psi. If you connect it directly to your tank is it comes it will most likely blow the hose out as mine did. I connected it directly to a new, full tank and the hose blew the second I opened the tank valve. Adapt it to a regulator if you want to be safe.
